Januar in der Nadelberghalle: Auf dem Fu\u00dfballfeld spielen 12 Teams der Erst- und Zweitkl\u00e4ssler aus 11 Celler Grundschulen mit h\u00f6chstem Einsatz um den Westerceller Grundschulcup, auf den Zuschauerr\u00e4ngen unentwegt angefeuert von Fangruppen und Eltern der beteiligten Schulen. In einer Vorrunde, aufgeteilt in Gruppe A und B, ermitteln die Mannschaften aus 6 Spielern und Spielerinnen (mindestens 1 M\u00e4dchen) 4 Finalisten. Im ersten Halbfinale schl\u00e4gt die GS Vorwerk die GS Heese S\u00fcd I mit 1:0, und im 2. Halbfinale kommt es zu einem brisanten 7-Meter-Schie\u00dfen, das die GS Hehlentor gegen die GS Klein Hehlen knapp mit 3:2 entscheidet. Das spannende Finale gewinnt schlie\u00dflich die GS Vorwerk gegen die GS Hehlentor mit 3:0. Unbeschreiblicher Jubel aufseiten der kleinen Fu\u00dfballk\u00f6nige aus Vorwerk, die von zwei Lehrerinnen und einer Mutter gemanagt werden!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>\n<style itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Beim Grundschulcup z\u00e4hlen aber nicht nur die Tore, sondern auch faires Spielen, Zusammenhalt und Engagement, beurteilt von den Schiedsrichtern. Dieses Jahr vergaben die beiden Jungschiedsrichter Marten Kr\u00fcger und Konstantin Gl\u00fcck die meisten Punkte an die GS Wietzenbruch, die somit den Fairness-Pokal gewann. Das Turnier, das eine hohe Eigendynamik entwickelte, wurde zum ersten Mal haupts\u00e4chlich von einem jungen FSJler organisiert: Hannes Neumann, begleitet von den seit dem 1. Grundschulcup bew\u00e4hrten VfL-Kr\u00e4ften Michael Kruse und Fritz Spering.<\/p>\n<p>Mit Ausnahme der beiden Corona-Jahre 2021\/22 hat der Grundschulcup seit 2013\/14 j\u00e4hrlich mit insgesamt 104 Mannschaften stattgefunden. Eine \u00dcbersicht findet sich auf der Seite des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vfl-westercelle.de\/fb\/grundschulcup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Westerceller Grundschulcups<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Aufbau der Energiereserven nach dem anstrengenden Kicken konnten sich die Sch\u00fcler und Sch\u00fclerinnen an einem Versorgungsstand bedienen. Die Lebensmittel wurden von Westerceller Gesch\u00e4ftsleuten (2025: EDEKA Cramer, Fleischerei Zimmermann, S\u00f6nke&#8217;s Gr\u00fcnzeug und B\u00e4ckerei Stremmel) freundlicherweise zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt und seit 2016 von der UNICEF-Arbeitsgruppe Celle angeboten, m\u00f6glichst gegen eine kleine Spende.
